The watch created by the watch brand Raketa (Russian: Ракета, meaning Rocket*) is a commemorative watch released to celebrate the Soviet Space Shuttle "Buran", a reusable Spaceplane, which achieved a suborbital flight and then landed back on a runway to be reused.
The face features the space shuttle for "Buran" on its background. The term "Buran" means blizzard or snowstorm although it has never been officially translated as such into English.
